Welcome fellow "Crafting Contessas"
I am so very excited about starting a Cocktails with Crafts on the side - I mean Crafting with Cocktails on the side - Club with all of you!
How I thought the club would generally work is that each Craft Club Member would take turns hosting craft night at their house. If you are the Crafting Contessa Host of the Month, there are a few things you need to do to prepare for club night. (1) You get to select the monthly craft. This is all about getting different ideas from each other, so you can share an old favorite of yours or hit the internet and find inspiration. (2) You need to make a list of the supplies needed for your selected craft. (3) You need to post to this site, the craft chosen along with the supplies list. Make sure you do this with enough time for your fellow club members to make a trip to JoAnn's or Michael's to get the necessary supplies. (4) Uncork some wine and get ready to have a fun night with friends!
At each monthly meeting we can select the meeting host, date and time for the following month.
I understand that may sound like a rather sizable commitment for some of you and I assure you, we will not be in the least offended if you are unable to commit at this time. Hopefully, you will be ready soon and we will still be meeting and drinking, I mean, crafting!
